Looking to explore the history of your area? Come learn about the many different research options available to you at your local library! Find out the differences between libraries, archives, and museums to help YOU navigate every resource available when doing local history research.

Seymour Library Director Patrick Pittman has worked in libraries, archives, and museums over the last seven years and so he knows ALL about the ins and outs of research.

This session will cover the basics of creating a research question, how to copy records, and how to perform basic searches.

(As a bonus, we will do a light dive into local history spaces and genealogy)!
