It's time to start thinking about your garden and yard. This year, include native plants in your plan!
Native plants coevolved as a food source for our native pollinators. How can one start to integrate these valuable plants into our home landscape to support our declining pollinator and bird populations? How does one start a native pollinator garden? Where are the best places to purchase native plants?
This colorful photo presentation covers perennials that thrive in both sun and shade, and their benefits to wildlife and ourselves. Learn how to get started with Healthy Yards Monroe County, a volunteer led campaign of Color Your Communities Green. Speaker Megan Meyer co-leads this county group and her Healthy Yards group in Penfield.
