Beginning May 2026, the Greece Public Library will be closed from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the first Thursday of every month.
This monthly closure will provide staff the opportunity for training, service improvements and facility maintenance; all of which directly support our ability to provide excellent service to the community.
We recognize that any change to hours can be an adjustment and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility. These monthly sessions help ensure the Greece Public Library remains an effective, welcoming and responsive resource for our community.
The library will reopen at 12:00 PM on the dates impacted by this schedule change and will operate with normal hours for the remainder of the day.
The 2026 dates affected by this change in schedule are:
• May 7, 2026
• June 4, 2026
• July 2, 2026
• August 6, 2026
• September 3, 2026
• October 1, 2026
• November 5, 2026
• December 3, 2026
