The Genesee Country Village and Museum brings the museum here just in time for maple sugar season. Explore the sweet history and science behind maple sugar and syrup production from early America to present-day commercial production. Learn how to identify a maple tree and try your hand at “tapping” a tree. Discover how sap is turned into sugar and syrup and taste the finished product.
