Ages 9 - 12 

Students will tell adventurous stories starring their own make-believe creatures. We will spend time understanding the physical and behavioral characteristics of their favorite animals and combine these traits into a new creature.

Misty Yarnall is a Rochester-based writer, editor, and teaching artist. She received her BA in Creative Writing from Purchase College. She is passionate about creating brave spaces for people to share their stories.
